Customer Verification Process: ID & Selfie

This article will go over the steps a customer will take if they were to validate their identity with the ID & Selfie verification method.

1.) The customer will receive an email notifications that allows them to access their documents.Customer Email View_NoEmailNote-png

2.) It will lead them to a page to begin the ID & Selfie verification process.

Please note that if the customer clicks on "Access Documents" from their main device for eSigning (such as a laptop/computer) they will also need to open the same email notification on their mobile device and touch-click on "Access Documents" to proceed with the ID & Selfie verification process.

If a customer opens the email notification and clicks on "Access Documents" from their mobile device, they can proceed with the ID & Selfie verification and continue to eSign their documents from the next few prompts.

Next Steps via Mobile Device

1.) Select which type of government issued ID

  • Driver's License: The photo of their front & back of the card will need to be taken & uploaded
  • Passport: The photo of their passport will need to be taken & uploaded

2.) Proceed to taking a Selfie

5.) Once both ID & Selfie pictures have been taken, the system will run the authentication and provide a confirmation.

6.) Once the redirect is complete, the customer will be able to continue with signing their documents.

  • If the customer still has the Desktop View page open, they will enter the authorization code given from the redirected page on the mobile device

  • If the customer would like to continue on their mobile device they can choose to follow the prompt by touch-clicking on No thanks, I would like to continue on my mobile device.
